POCO M2 Launched In India with a Price of Rs.10,999 (8th SEPT)

Poco M2 launched in India on September 8. The budget smartphone is a watered-down version of the already-launched Poco M2 Pro (review) in India. Poco M2 is the rebrand of Redmi 9 Prime and M2 only consists of 6GB ram as Redmi 9 does not have these RAM variant. The Sale will start from 15th September for both the variants.

Poco M2 will sit below the Poco M2 Pro, which was launched for Rs 13,999.The Poco M2 is launched in India with a price of Rs 10,999 and Rs 12,499 .

As mentioned earlier, Poco has already confirmed some of the Poco M2 specifications. The budget smartphone features a full HD+ display with a water-drop notch on top. There is also be a beefy 5,000 mAh battery on the Poco M2. 
Poco M2 is also consists a 6GB RAM variant and a quad-camera setup, with Storage and Price difference. It also have the 6.67 Inch of FUll HD+ display. The Display is protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The back is plastic body with different colors.
Poco M2 has a Mediatek Helio G80 powerful Chipset in the Budget range paired with Mali G52 GPU and 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM.  Which is more powerful than Snapdragon 439 chipset. It is an octacore chipset, which is designed on 12nm technology.
The Battery of the Poco M2 is 5000mAh and it can charged up with the 18W fast charger available in the box. There is also Triple Card slot available in the smartphone.
In terms of Camera optics, the Poco M2 has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel sensor with a macro lens, and lastly, a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, you get a 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls. The front camera sensor is housed with in the notch.
For storage, the Poco M2 comes with up to 128GB onboard that is expandable via microSD card. Connectivity options on the phone include dual-band Wi-Fi, dual VoLTE support, 4G, Bluetooth v5.0, IR Blaster, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port. The sensors onboard the Poco M2 includes accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The phone also comes with a P2i coating for splash resistance.
