Motorola’s newest flagship-adjacent Motorola Edge S is all set to hit global shores as the Moto G100, as foretold by a Geekbench listing. The Moto G100 may also launch in India given that its lower-specced cousins, the Moto G10 Power and Moto G30 have released in the country. Some new Moto G100 renders have now emerged online via German news outlet Techniknews. They highlight key Moto G100 specifications, such as quad rear cameras, two selfie cameras, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. They also tell us that the phone will be available in at least two colour variants.
Moto G100 specifications may be similar to Motorola Edge S
Since the Moto G100 is expected to be a rebranded Motorola Edge S, we may already know the specifications. To recall, the Motorola Edge S comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ (2520×1800) IPS LCD display. It is HDR10 compliant and has two punch holes in the top-left corner for dual selfie cameras. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Its 5,000mAh battery supports fast charging at 20W.
At the back, we get a total of three camera modules including a 64MP primary sensor, a 16MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The primary 16MP primary selfie camera module is assisted by an 8MP wide-angle lens. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor too. Wireless connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC.
